# Pinned Files

Pinned files are a feature that lets you highlight your most important content at the top of your Smmall Cloud profile. They appear prominently on your public profile page, making it easy for visitors to discover your featured work, portfolio items, or key resources.

### What are Pinned Files?

Pinned files are selected items from your Smmall Cloud that you want to showcase on your profile. Unlike regular files that appear in chronological order, pinned files stay at the top of your profile and can be arranged in any order you choose.

#### **Why Use Pinned Files?**

* **Showcase your best work**: Highlight your portfolio pieces, case studies, or favorite projects
* **Guide visitors**: Direct people to your most important resources first
* **Professional presentation**: Create a curated, organized profile experience
* **Quick access**: Make your key files easy to find without scrolling

3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to the file
4. Select **"Pin to Profile"** from the dropdown menu

The file will now appear in the pinned files section of your profile.

1. Visit your public profile while logged in
2. Hover over any pinned file
3. Click and hold the drag handle (☰) that appears in the top-right corner

Your changes are saved automatically. The new order will be visible to all visitors immediately.

> **Note**: Drag-and-drop reordering is only available to the profile owner when viewing your own profile. Visitors will see your pinned files in the order you've arranged them, but won't see the drag handles.
